Spraypark in the dessert???

Yep. Fort Irwin is getting a spray park. A full kiddie fun area was planned and the spray park is really the last piece of the puzzle that includes a full indoor skate rink, climbing wall, skate park, playground and spray park. The construction started a couple weeks ago but is moving right along. While the pics don't look like much you can already see footers and the main pit being dug for the water holding tank. Once it goes in, they run the water lines, cover it with concrete and bolt down a bunch a features that spray, spit and cascade water for the wee ones to run, scream, and generally skin themselves up. Oh joy.

In a few months, a gaggle of screaming crumb snatchers will be infesting this place daily.
