Day of Olympic proportions

Last Saturday was Fort Irwin's Month of the Military Child Celebration and Youth Olympics. I rolled in around 10am just in time to see the kids running the torch into the arena. My ODR guy put the rings backboard together earlier in the week. They had games and events (facepainting, ring toss, etc.) as well as the Presidential Fitness Challenge going on. Everyone seemed to be doing well, so I snuck off to my office for a few hours to try to catch up on some work stuff. Turning into a workaholic?! Don't believe the hype. I'd prefer to be toiling in a garden or out playing in the woods over work any day.
